Ante la información difundida en el pueblo de Cifuentes y en redes sociales que pone en duda la continuidad de la Feria Tradicional de Cifuentes desde el Ayuntamiento queremos manifestar y aclarar:
La Feria Tradicional de Cifuentes es una celebración declarada de Interés Turístico Provincial por lo que recibe una ayuda económica y logística de la Diputación Provincial cada año. Tanto el Ayuntamiento de Cifuentes como la institución provincial van a mantener esta celebración este año y en años posteriores.
El Ayuntamiento de Cifuentes aporta:
- La gestión de la subvención que realiza la Diputación.
- La logística necesaria, lo que conlleva compra de material, pago de horas extraordinarias, servicio de retén y un esfuerzo importante de nuestros trabajadores los días previos, durante y después de la Feria.
- Cesión en el cobro de todos los puestos de la Feria a la organización.
- Además, asumimos el coste de distintas actuaciones y actos. En los últimos años hemos patrocinado entre otras actividades: actuaciones de música, actuaciones teatrales, la chorizada, la cetrería, etc…
En resumen, el coste de la Feria Tradicional se asume con la aportación de la Diputación Provincial, la aportación del Ayuntamiento y el dinero recaudado por la organización de los puestos y de la aportación vecinal.
El Ayuntamiento busca dar un impulso a la Feria Tradicional y mejorarla cada año. Imaginamos y queremos pensar que el mensaje difundido se hace con buena voluntad y con el ánimo de incentivar la colaboración ciudadana, aunque por lo que nos llega lo que ha causado es incertidumbre y preocupación. Todo ello, en un año, en el que precisamente hemos trasladado la intención de enriquecer el programa y mejorarlo desde esta institución
Emitimos este comunicado sin ánimo de causar polémica, por el contrario, agradeciendo la colaboración de todos y todas aquellas personas que colaboran y hacen posible la Feria Tradicional y para tranquilizar y reafirmar que este año habrá Feria (se celebrarán los días 25, 26 y 27 de octubre) y en lo sucesivos años también.
Es lógico que las personas que han estado haciéndolo posible se cansen y con ello quieran dejar paso a otras personas, que seguro que están dispuestas a colaborar. Así ha sido siempre. Pero los que siempre van a estar ahí y no van a dejar de ninguna manera que esta Feria Tradicional deje de celebrarse son, el Ayuntamiento de Cifuentes y la Diputación Provincial de Guadalajara. Y seguro que también se contará, como siempre, con un buen número de cifontinos y cifontinas que lo harán posible.
